Wuhan Binhu Mechanical & Electrical Co. Ltd., located in Optics Valley of China, Wuhan, is a high-tech company which is organized by Shenzhen Innovation Investment Company. It relies on Rapid Prototyping and Manufacturing Center of Huazhong University of Science & Technology .The company produces RP systems, ,such as HRP(Laminated Object Manufacturing), HRPS(Selective Laser Sintering), HRPL(Stereo Lithography Apparatus), HRPM(Selective Laser Melting).

Rapid Prototyping and Manufacturing Center of HUST, which is one of the first units to study the RP technique, began the study in 1991. It has been supported by National Ministry of Science and Technology, National Ministry of Education, National Natural Science Fund Council, National 863 High-Tech Project, Hubei Science and Technology Office and Wuhan Science and Technology Bureau successively. In 1994, the company succeeded in developing the HRP-I model machine of LOM RP system. In September, 1995, the HRP-I model machine took part in Beijing International Machine & Tool Exhibition .It was the first RP facility in our country that has ever taken part in this kind of exhibition and was paid close attention by visitors. In the exhibition our HRP-I system was reported with its high, new and advanced technique and also highly praised by experts.

Since 1998, the company has succeeded in developing the commercial RP system named HRPS-I , HRPS-IIIA which employed macromolecule material as raw material and thus can process moulds ,cores and parts directly.

In April, 2001, the HRPS-IIIA RP system was accredited by the Accreditation Council organized by Hubei Science and Technology Office. They considered the precision of the part formed by HRP-IIIA to be equal with that of the like products in the whole world and the synthetically performance index as achieving the international advanced level.

In 2013,the company successfully developed the world's first four lasers selective laser sintering equipment which has a big forming space of 1.4m*1.4m.This means our selective laser sintering technology is a world leading level.
